CSR works on behalf of members in the following
ways:
We stay on top of and report to our members on stewardship
initiatives across Canada that affect your businesses.
We work to ensure that when provincial governments make
decisions to change or introduce new programs, they are
designed to be fair and cost effective.
We work with program implementers— municipalities
and other service organizations—to implement effective
programs at the lowest possible cost to industry, consumers
and taxpayers.
We continue to work with these programs to improve performance
and to simplify the administrative burden for our members.
To provide strategic input on policy development central
to our national work, CSR constituted the Member Policy
Committee which meets quarterly. Comprising company employees
at the operational level, any member of CSR is invited to
be represented.
