Are you looking for a great way to celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd) and beyond?

Help your students to THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY, AND TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY by exploring the story of recycling.

Exciting activities "designed down" from the Grades 5 and 7 curriculum will unveil the mysteries of what becomes of the items in our recycling boxes and bags once they leave our curbs.

Classroom-ready games and activities for the purpose of discussion will prepare you and your students for action-oriented summative assignments that will demonstrate the level of your students' understanding of the various curriculum expectations addressed. These will be in a printable format so you can print and photocopy for your class.

By completing this program, students will be given background information and opportunities to meet the expectations listed. As well, there are many language expectations that can be addressed within the context of Celebrating Earth Day by Recycling.

So point and click your way to access the various components of Celebrating Earth Day by Recycling. Pick and choose the parts that work for you and your class, or complete the unit in its entirety.

Happy Earth Week and Beyond!
